The Eversley Neighbourhood Plan is a community project. It will be strongest when it reflects the experience, knowledge and priorities of people across the parish.

We know that many residents have busy lives, family commitments and work pressures. You do not need to be a planning expert, attend every meeting or commit large amounts of time to make a valuable contribution.

There are many simple ways to get involved. Even a small contribution can help shape the future of Eversley.

You Don’t Need Planning Experience

One of the most common misconceptions is that neighbourhood planning is only for planners, architects or people with technical knowledge.

In reality, local knowledge is often the most valuable contribution. Residents know:

  • Which roads feel unsafe.
  • Where flooding occurs.
  • Which green spaces matter most.
  • What makes a particular part of the parish special.
  • Where community facilities are needed.
  • How the village has changed over time.

These insights cannot be found in planning documents alone.

Provide local knowledge

Nobody knows Eversley better than the local residents, please review the draft plan and supporting documents as they become available. You can give your comments or questions using the feedback forms.

The Neighbourhood Plan is about the furture.  If you have an urgent or current problem such as traffic or flooding, please report this to Eversley Parish Council to ensure it is directed to the correct agency click here.

Help spread the word

Small Contributions Matter

Not everyone can attend regular meetings, and that is perfectly understandable.The Neighbourhood Plan will be developed over many months. Someone who completes a survey, attends one event or shares local knowledge about a particular issue can still make an important contribution.  Many successful neighbourhood plans are built from hundreds of small contributions rather than a handful of large ones.

Why Your Involvement Matters

Eversley is facing important decisions about its future. Planning applications, infrastructure pressures and environmental challenges will continue to shape the parish over the coming years.

The more people who engage with the Neighbourhood Plan, the better it can reflect the priorities of the whole community rather than just a small number of voices.

You do not need to be an expert. You only need to care about Eversley and be willing to share your perspective.
