The Eversley Neighbourhood Plan took an important step forward in November 2025 with the launch of a parish-wide Community Survey.

Delivered to households across the parish, the survey invited residents to share their views on what makes Eversley special, the challenges facing the community and their aspirations for the future.

The response provided invaluable insight into the priorities, concerns and ideas of local people, creating a strong evidence base that will help guide the development of the Neighbourhood Plan.

Listening to the Community

The purpose of the survey was simple: to ensure that the Neighbourhood Plan reflects the views of the people who live and work in Eversley.

Residents were asked about a wide range of topics including:

  • The character and identity of the parish.
  • Housing and future development.
  • Green spaces and the natural environment.
  • Traffic, transport and road safety.
  • Community facilities and services.T
  • Heritage and local history.
  • Priorities for the future of Eversley.

The survey provided an opportunity for every household to contribute to the conversation and help shape the direction of the Plan.

From Feedback to Action

The Community Survey is not an end in itself. It marked the beginning of a wider conversation about the future of the parish.  The findings will be presented and discussed at a Community Open Day event, where residents will have the opportunity to review the results and learn how the information will be used as the Neighbourhood Plan progresses.

The strength of a Neighbourhood Plan comes from the involvement of the community it represents. Every response will help build a clearer picture of what residents value most about Eversley and what they want to see protected and enhanced in the years ahead.

As the project moves forward, there will be further opportunities for residents to review proposals, attend events and help shape the final Plan.

Together, we can create a shared vision for Eversley's future.
