Eversley’s green spaces, countryside and rural views are an important part of what makes our parish such a special place to live.

As we develop the Eversley Neighbourhood Plan, we have been gathering evidence to identify the places and landscape features that are particularly important to the character of the parish. As part of this work, we have now prepared two new evidence documents – Local Green Spaces and Key Views.

Local Green Spaces

Our Local Green Spaces document looks at green areas across the parish that are particularly valued by the community.

Each proposed space has been assessed to understand what makes it special. This might include its recreational value, landscape or historic importance, tranquillity, wildlife or the contribution it makes to the character of Eversley.

The evidence will help us decide which spaces should be proposed for designation as Local Green Spaces within the Neighbourhood Plan.

Key Views

Our Key Views document identifies important views from publicly accessible locations across Eversley.

These views help tell the story of our parish – its open countryside, farmland, woodland, historic buildings and the relationship between our different settlements and the surrounding landscape.

Identifying these views will provide evidence to help ensure that future development respects the landscape character and sense of place that make Eversley distinctive.
